Cameron’s first Picnic

On Friday (Waitangi Day) we had our annual family picnic. Every year my mum’s side of the family gets together in Cornwall Park under some beautiful trees to share food and spend time together. We try out a different sport every time, last year it was Cricket and this year we had both Badminton and Volleyball happening. Everyone gets rather competitive but nobody is particularly sporty which makes it pretty amusing to watch! The kids have a fantastic time playing in and under the trees making houses and for the fairies. This year was extra special as it was Cameron’s first picnic and also the first time some of his extended family had met him. Here’s some photo’s. I’m looking forward to scrapping Cameron’s first picnic… when I get a minute!
