Christmas goodness

November 28, 2008

I’ve been a busy woman the last few weeks, organising the next kit and getting ready for the Christmas card morning tomorrow. I am so excited about this and have loved filling baskets with yummy bits and pieces.

This is what my kitchen bench looked like this afternoon:

see that little basket in the middle at the front? That’s for the kids table -so cute!

Here’s a close up of the Christmas goodness:

How good does that look? It’s all been very inspiring and I just want everybody to go nuts tomorrow and create up a storm!

Have a great weekend everyone and look out for some giveaways, maybe some of these Christmas goodies for you?

Getting ready now for Christmas photo’s

November 21, 2008

I’m going to be a busy girl after Christmas this year with a baby due the 9th of January. I’m not sure where I’ll find the time to do my personal scrapping for the first few months! So I’ve got organised early and created some basic layouts that I can simply add photo’s too later.

We always make a big deal of choosing and decorating our Christmas tree each year with the girls and take plenty of photo’s, so I thought I’d better do a double layout for that. I’ve created 5 photo mats for all the pic’s and left plenty of space for journaling to be added. I’ve embossed the tree stamp image with silver embossing powder to give it that nice shine and match the A/C lettering.

This one is more general and can be used for photo’s of Christmas Day itself or just a general overview of the silly season. Again I have made 5 photo mats to add pictures to later.

Thanks for looking and have a fantastic weekend!!

Xmas Day baby

November 20, 2008

I can’t believe I am still scrapping photo’s from Christmas 2005 but this is a special layout as Sophia was 25 days old on the 25th of December! That’s my little sister Diana holding her new niece.

All materials from the November Paper Pesto kit. (it’s not really crooked just didn’t crop it very well!)

November Sketches

November 19, 2008

If you are needing a little inspiration this month, try one of these great Page Maps sketches. More sketches are available here.

I have also recently stumbled onto a fantastic card blog that provides a weekly sketch and a whole host of beautiful cards made with it. It’s well worth checking out 2 sketches 4 u as the cards are just gorgeous.
