June 27, 2009Lesley sent us this wonderful masculine themed layout….
She says…
As soft and beautiful as this kit was, there were also perfect elements for this boy page. I used one of the patterned papers for the background and used the neutral and orange cardstocks for journaling and mats and the shape (cut with the mm slice). I used some of the Hambly clear stickers too as well as the chipboard numbers and the crystal brads. I added orange thickers alphas for the title. Lesley Thanks Lesley! Have a great weekend everyone. :-) Ann

June 24, 2009Heres another layout from Lesley and yes she has used the bird for the third time!....Now that's making good use of the kit! Lesley found this quote which was just perfect for her daughter and the title complimented the bird nicely. She put the sticker negative on to acetate (also in the kit) and cut around the outline. She then added some of the words from the quote onto the acetate using the rub on alphabet, added adhesive to the back of the acetate and added micro beads. She also stamped some leaves onto the tissue paper from the kit to use as well. Nicely done Lesley! :-) Ann
My Nieces – Hannah Blair
June 22, 2009Using the other adorable die-cut paper in this months kit Hannah has created this layout of her sweet nieces. She’s made the lollipop flower and the leaves herself and painted her chipboard alpha green to coordinate. That’s one thing I love about plain chipboard, it’s so easy to customise for your page.
Hope you all have a great week!
Kate =)

June 19, 2009How gorgeous is this!!?
Lesley says:
Of course I had to use the sticker negative of the bird! I peeled off the negative and placed it onto my background cardstock to use as a mask. I stamped over it and then glimmer misted it in silver. I peeled off the negative sticker (and I have put that on to some acetate and cut around it but thats for another use!). I have also used the acetate to stamp a dandelion on it for an embellishment. I have used some of the clear Hambly stickers to frame the photo.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Kate =0)

June 18, 2009It looks like the Making Memories Die Cut Artisan Flower Patch paper is the clear favourite from this months kit….lol
Like Hannah and Leslie IĀ couldn’t wait to start with this paper first.
I have stamped on the transparencies with Staz-on ink, using black and timber brown.
Both the large circle and the flourishes were stamped.
The humming bird and the title have been cut using my Cricut.
